Zusammenfassung
Eine intensivmedizinische Patientin unter Langzeitbeatmung erlitt einen Tag nach Dilatationstracheotomie eine Dislokation der Trachealkanüle mit konsekutivem Hautemphysem. Die notwendige Notfall-Koniotomie mit einem hierfür vorgesehenen Koniotomie-Set erwies sich als nicht durchführbar.
Summary
One day after dilatation tracheotomy, an intensive-medical patient under long-term artificial ventilation was seen to suffer from a dislocated tracheal cannula and consecutive skin emphysema. The necessary emergency cricothyrotomy could not be carried out with a cricothyrotomy kit developed for this purpose.
