Zusammenfassung
Zusammenfassung:Untersuchungsgegenstand war das Verhalten des intraokularen Drucks (IOD) nach Relaxierung mit Mivacurium oder Atracurium. Die Untersuchung wurde als prospektive, randomi-sierte Doppelblind-Studie an 30 hämodynamisch und respiratorisch stabilen Patienten durchgeführt.
Zum Ausschluß von Störfaktoren waren die Patienten intu-biert und kontinuierlich analgosediert. Als Wirk-substanz erhielten sie einen Bolus Mivacurium (0,15 mg kg-1) oder Atracurium (0,5 mg kg-1), was der Intubationsdosis (2 x ED95) entspricht. Der IOD wurde vor der Bolusgabe (T0) sowie eine (T1),fünf (T5),zehn (T10) und 30 (T30) Minuten nach der Bolusgabe bestimmt. Es zeigte sich sowohl durch Mivacurium als auch durch Atracurium eine Abnahme des IOD, die nach fünf Minuten maximal ausgeprägt war, wobei Mivacurium zu einer signifikant größeren IOD-Senkung führte. Wir schließen daraus,daß für klinische Situationen mit erwünschter IOD-Abnahme Mivacurium ein besonders geeignetes Muskelrelaxans ist.

Summary: We investigated the effects on intraocular pressure of relaxation with mivacurium or atracurium in a prospective, randomized, double-blind examina-tion of 30 hemodynamically and respiratorically stable patients. To exclude disruptive factors the patients were all intubated and continously sedated. As active agent the patients were given a bolus of mivacurium (0.15 mg/kg) or atracurium (0.5 mg/kg) which equals the dose of intubation (2 x ED95). The IOPwas con-trolled before giving the bolus as well as after one,five, ten and 30 minutes. Our data showed that both miva-curium and atracurium decreased IOP. The greatest decrease was reached after five minutes.The influence of mivacurium was significantly greater than that of atracurium. We conclude that mivacurium is a useful drug in clinical situations in which decreased intrao-cular pressure is desired.
