Zusammenfassung
Zusammenfassung: Die Kosten für die Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRGs) werden von dem Institut für das Entgeltsystem im Krankenhaus (InEK) auf Basis der übermittelten Daten der Kalkulationshäuser ermittelt. Diese Kalkulationen werden jährlich in dem DRG-Browser (www.g-drg.de) aufgeteilt nach Kostenarten und Kostenstellen offen gelegt.
Auf dieser Datenbasis wurde von der DGAI und dem BDA ein DRG-Budgetkalkulationstool entwickelt. Nach Eingabe der eigenen Baserate und den verhandelten DRGs erhält der Nutzer eine Globalanalyse des Budgets aufgeteilt nach Kostenarten. Dieses Ergebnis sollte jedoch nicht unkritisch zur Budgetfestlegung benutzt werden, sondern sollte als Basis für Detailanalysen, die die Struktur und die Prozesse des eigenen Hauses berücksichtigen, dienen.

Summary: The costs for the diagnosis-related groups (DRGs) are established by the Institut für das Entgeltsystem im Krankenhaus (InEK) (Institute for the Remuneration System in Hospitals) on the basis of data provided by the “calculation houses”. These calculations, broken down by type of cost and cost center, are published annually in the DRG Browser (www.g-drg.de). Using this data base, the DGAI and the BDA developed a DRG budget-calculating tool. On inputting your own base rate and the DRGs serviced, the user receives a global analysis of the budget broken down by type of cost. However, this should not be used uncritically for determining the budget, but should be considered a basis for a detailed analysis that takes account of the structure and processes of your own institute.
