Zusammenfassung
Zusammenfassung: Eine Prozessbetrachtung zur Anlage von Thoraxdrainagen in der Notfall- und Intensivmedizin hat in unserer Klinik mit der Einführung eines standardisierten Behandlungssets eine Prozessoptimierung mit Gewährleistung optimaler medizinischer Versorgung bei reduzierten Gesamtkosten bewirkt.
Das standardisierte Behandlungsset bietet den Vorteil der schnellen und kompletten Verfügbarkeit der benötigten Materialien mit der größtmöglichen Sicherheit bei Sterilität und Funktionsfähigkeit. Aus der Standardisierung resultieren eine Qualitätsverbesserung des Prozesses, Fehlervermeidung, Zeitersparnis, Verbrauchsminimierung und reduzierte Lagerbestände bei optimierter Bedarfsplanung mit einer fallbezogenen Kostentransparenz.
Summary
Summary: Process analysis focusing on the insertion of thorax drains in emergency and intensive care medicine resulted in our clinic in the standardization of the treatment set which includes surgical instruments for disposable use and necessary consumables. This, in turn, has led to process optimisation, guaranteeing an optimum of medical care at reduced overall costs. The advantage of a standardized treatment set consists in the rapid and complete availability of necessary material, combined with an assurance of complete sterility and functionality. As a result of this standardization, we have achieved quality improvements in the process, avoidance of errors, minimisation of consumption and a reduction of storage stocks, coupled with optimised requirements planning and case-related cost transparency.
