Summary Grayanotoxin poisoning is an uncommon cause of syncope with bradycardia and hypotension. This poison occurs in wild honey from the Turkish coast of the Black Sea . In the case described here, ingestion of this honey caused a traffic accident. Despite extensive clinical diagnostics, the right diagnosis was only found subsequent to exploration of the case history.
