Advanced TEE Course

This course is intended to enable participants with basic TEE knowledge to improve their theoretical understanding and interpretation skills. For more experienced participants, the course allows for brushing up and acquiring knowledgein rapidly advancing areas. The emphasis is on in-depth, practical apllication, going from theoretical considerations and basic calculations to case interpretations and interactive clinical presentations. In addition, the surgical cardiac anatomy wet laboratory on thursday will give an ideal chance to refresh one´s knowledge on cardiac anatomy; a pig´s heart will be available for each two participants.
